When I was a child, I drove my parents crazy pointing out typos in books and occasionally got in trouble in school for reading under my desk instead of paying attention in class. In high school, I did a student exchange to Rimouski, Quebec and fell in love with French. Ever since, I’ve been doing everything I can to learn the language, including exchange programs to Quebec, bilingual jobs, and most recently, moving to Montreal. I have a degree in French Language and Literature with a concentration in Spanish, as well as nearly 10 years of experience working with customers across Canada in French and English. In 2010, I received a post-graduate Diploma in Translation from Concordia University and started using my love of language to create high-quality, skillful translations from French into English. In 2013, I launched Jill Swan Translation so I could do what I love full-time.
